About Me
I started practicing yoga about ten years ago, completely unaware of what I was getting into! When I began, I wasn’t very flexible, struggled to stay focused during exercise, and had misconceptions about what yoga was supposed to look like.
After my first class, I immediately fell in love. The ability to challenge myself while working at my own pace, without expectations, was a breath of fresh air. I discovered that yoga is a continual practice of learning and growth—both physically and mentally. When the opportunity to teach arose, I decided to take the leap.
My journey began with a 200-hour yoga teacher training, but it didn’t stop there. I delved deeper into the subtleties of yin yoga, hatha yoga, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, and the profound relaxation of yoga nidra. Along the way, I gained insights into trauma-informed yoga, prenatal yoga, restorative yoga, breath coaching, and oncology-informed integrative practices. My mission is to understand the delicate balance of mind, body, and spirit.
What truly sets my practice apart is my love for sound healing. I incorporate a wide variety of instruments based on the goals of each session, specializing in modalities that include crystal bowls and tuning forks. My style blends science-based techniques, music theory, and spiritual traditions to cultivate a unique sound experience. It’s in this space—amidst the vibrations of sound and the gentle flow of breath—that true transformation unfolds.
I’m excited to share the unique yoga and integrative practices I’ve cultivated over the years, drawing from a diverse range of formats.
See you soon!
